I have two of these, still. After rooting and removing a lot of apps and the Google Play Services, it's an okay phone. I use it mainly for NewPipe, Telegram, and taking photos, nothing else.
It was absolutely unusable with the Google Play Services. Updated YouTube or Gmail are painfully slow. Forget Skype, Facebook and other mainstream apps.

Do not buy this phone! 512gb ram spec I have bought.
It is the laggiest phone in the Universe. At the beginning it was faster but with time passing it becomes worse! Stay away from Acer phones or be super mindful about it.
P.S. The camera is just awful. The battery is the only good thing.

I have had this phone for about 11 months. I thought it was a really good phone and it worked well for me. Despite how many times ive dropped it the screen has never cracked. Today however my alarm did not go off so i went to check it out and the screen displayed the time and charged amount from the night before. I restarted it and it continued to work. 3 hours ago i swiped my password and now thats all you can see and it wont let me restart it or anything. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

What I did was to go into settings and select more.. then selected the time I wanted my screen to stay on after inactivitys and I selected thirty minutes, which will keep my phone on for thirty minutes without the screen going black when I am reading something on the screen. Or you can select never. I am not to sure if the never option will affect your battery life.

I had high hopes for this phone when I bought it, hoping that Acer would bring the same quality and grade to this phone that they bring to their computers. I of course, was disappointed. It is 6 month later, and this phone has been a clear waste of time and money, the camera has failed on me twice, didn't bother sending it in for repairs the second time around. The speaker had a problem from day 10, and the microphone has also lost all sense...this all happened before I started dropping this phone. It was still quite interesting trying it out...I would probably still buy a newer mid-range version just to see if it works better.

AnonD-397748, 20 May 2015My phone is open but blank screen why? If the screen goes blank try holding the screen right next a bright light. If you can see the screen go to settings and turn off adaptive brightness and up the brightness setting

Working in a phone shop, I can say this piece of crap isn't worth a second look.
The sheer amount of problems we have with these phones honestly made me stop recommending it.
