Kindle Unlimited launched in India for introductory price of $1.5 per month

Prasad, 02 September, 2015

Amazon has launched its Kindle Unlimited service in India. The service will be available to customers for a starting price of INR 99 ($1.5) for the first month, and then INR 199 starting next month.

Kindle Unlimited lets you choose from over a million titles to read for free on any Kindle device or any device that supports the Kindle app. This includes select Kindle ebooks and audiobooks. If you see the 'Kindle Unlimited' logo next to a title, you can get it for free.

Unfortunately, as of now the selection is quite limited. Most of the 1 million titles don't include popular books that you'd actually want to read. It's worth going through the store and checking out if the books you read are part of the program before subscribing to the service.

Joseph, $1.5 is for the first month alone... It is $3 from the next month. That's the point of Eske...

Lol yes, Title seems pretty misleading. Hey Eske, Nice to see you still around here. & no more of IronMan, ET, SEN, WillS etc.. feels quite a bummer on not having disqus no more. but towards the end, disqus went wayyyy off control.
