Apple and IBM launch the first wave of business apps of iOS
Apple and IBM launched the first wave of MobileFirst business apps for iOS. The duo of tech giants entered into a global enterprise mobility partnership back in July.
The first wave of solutions is available for banks, retail and insurance businesses, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, airlines, and governments. Citi, Air Canada, Sprint, and Banorte are among the first client to use IBM MobileFirst iOS solutions.
IBM MobileFirst apps for iOS are utilized in secure environment and feature embedded analytics. Applications can be tweaked to fit the needs of an organization. They can be managed and updated via IBM’s secure cloud services.
More IBM MobileFirst apps are expected to debut next year.
