Give me the Blackberry any day. Used iphones, and a few Android phones but all touch screen phones are just bogus - very limited functionalities.

Personally, I love Apple because the iPhone really suits me well. However, I love the designs of Nokia N9/800, and the Motorola Razr. If the iPhone did not exist, these would probably be the two phones getting my attention the most now.

Maybe I would even get both, why not.

> In reply to Corratec @ 2011-10-26 10:21 from IVK$ - click to readOh, I definitely agree with you, to me we should buy which tech works for us best. I was just informing you why iPhone decided to abandon Flash.

The korea drama plastic comment was not by me, that was another person below me I think.

My preference is to concentrate on the good features, rather than bashing others.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-10-26 10:04 from mTWB - click to readTo be honest,i never had the intention of arguing the topic about who is better, ill buy which 1 is better,if apple's smartphone completes my needs,i would buy them, but in the meantime, apple did not fulfill my needs, thats why im going for android, lets say if iphone 5 is better than the s2,then ill buy it in replacement of my s2,but is there a reason for you to say watching korean drama in plastic box? as far as we both know,i never looked down on the iphone, its just that it does not satisfy my needs, and for the link you gave me,did you see the date? february? when? when will the html 5 come? as far as i know i havent heard any rumors about this upcoming software? When?

Quote is here:

“HTML 5 is the way almost all applications will be built, including for phones.”

> In reply to Corratec @ 2011-10-26 09:46 from IVK$ - click to readDifferent devices are driven by different priorities, and in mobile devices, the driving factor is the best ratio of performance versus battery life. The most powerful phone in the world is useless, if it lasts 30 minutes, and the most battery life on a phone, is also of no use, if it doesnt perform well.

The iPhone has always been designed with this in mind, since day 1, which can be seen in everything from its adoption of Bluetooth 4.0 (very low power usage), to optimisation of software and hardware (800 MHz underclocked vs higher speeds on Android), yet achieving similar if not better speeds.

I for one, certainly hope that Apple maintains this strategy, as I will always get the best performance and battery life ratio.

By the way, even Adobe has admitted they were wrong in this Flash argument, and are now moving and introducing new products supporting the iPhone 'way'. Soon, Android phones will also be using the same, and abandoning Flash.

hey everybody. Since its launch i am in love with this thing. I find siri, in particular to be very practicle application in hectic life. But as i read, its location based services are not active outside US, and as i hails from india does it really cut down utility here in india. Secondly, as a medical graduate i am told Apple app store is best but looking at options like SGS2 and recently announced moto RAZR are quite tempting. What should i do. Please guide me. Thanks ....

I was in love with the iphone 4s till there are a few things that disappoint me:
1) Small screen-it would be better if it was 4 inch
2) Browser does not support adobe flash player-couldn't watch korean drama online
3) Battery life is not good-i always need to lower down my brightness
4) Front facing camera is only vga quality
5) Build quality is only good in terms of cosmetics, not durability, go check on youtube, samsung galaxy s2 vs iphone 4s drop test

Those are the things, I'm not an apple fanboy or android fanboy, I'm just looking for a phone that satisfy my needs,I buy the best phone so I can use, not to compare

I was in love with this phone, but there are a few things that dissapoints me about this phone:
1) Small Screen-it would be better if it is slightly bigger, about 4 inch
2) Browser does not support adobe flash player-couldn't watch my korean drama.
3) Front facing camera is vga quality-compared to sgs2,its 2mp
4) Build quality-its quality is only because of cosmetics, not durability,go check on youtube, iphone 4s vs samsung galaxy s2 drop test
5) Poor battery,u gotta admit, the battery life sucks and i always have to low the brightness and worrying about the phone usage

Thats all i guess,i love the design, the camera, applications,i guess ill have to go with sgs2 1st,and wait for iphone 5,but at the same time,i wonder how sgs3 is? im not on any side, not a apple fanboy or android fanboys, just looking for a phone that satisfy my needs

> In reply to [deleted post]One thing Apple is known for is its build quality, and the iPhone 4S does not disaapoint. They apply standards that are way higher than most average companies, and are known for their attention to detail.

Apple shifted entire production lines, so that they could move MacBook production to the unibody aluminium enclosure which allowed for finer detail in the shaping process.

In most reviews you will encounter on the iPhone 4S, you will all hear the same thing, that the iPhone 4S is one beautifully engineered device. Plus, with Apple's two year strategy on hardware, they have more time to make adjustments and improvements to the hardware (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4S), as opposed to other manufacturers who introduce many models, and have a shorter shelf life.
