Tyler, 25 Oct 2011It is a shame that iPhone still has not stepped up it's gam... moreNo phone on todays market is '4G', anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying through their teeth, or is just using it as a buzz word. At best, all the phones that are being labled as '4G' are actually only 3.9G. This is due to the data needed to achieve 4G communications. Its an issue of speed. 4G tech has to support speeds of up to 100mb/s. While it is accepted to say that the new LTE networks are 4G, technically they are not. They are just fore runners for the tech.

The fact that iPhone 4S's 800 MHz is running circles around Android's best at 1.2 GHz says something about its optimization.
It's lack of fragmentation will also ensure that software will always be more optimized in general for iPhones than on Android.
However, it is not the phone for everybody, that much is clear. People should choose what serves them best. A blind person would probably appreciate Siri, others would appreciate the large screens Android offers etc. Choose what's best for you, and enjoy the tech.

android phone uses cheap plastic hardware, it can't even match the screen resolution & pixel density of iphone 4s. the reason why apple dont create 4.3" screen is that "other phones with same screen would be humiliated!!

Another iPhone, another disappointment! Sluggish processor and small screen when compared to the N9 or Galaxy2. Apple did well to hold back the iPhone5, and substitute it for a 4S, considering the lack of advancement in the specs that made its predecessors so good. Slight improvement in the signal range which is good

I accept that it's a good phone but it' gets heated up so badly while playing games or browsing.after few minutes you don't even what it be in your hand any more I feel like whill it burst.i am very disappointed regarding this...Am I the only one who is facing this issue with iPhone 4s or is every one facing the same problem

It is a shame that iPhone still has not stepped up it's game regarding both it's hardware and software.
Still only 3G?
Still only 512 MB RAM?
Still only 1.0GHz dual-core?
Embarassing, considering phones like the Galaxy SII have been coming out with 4G, 1G of RAM, 1.2 dual-core processors.
Not to mention that the five most "impressive" features of iOS 5 just happen to have existed on Android OS for awhile now.
Is iOS 5 even optimized for dual-core???
Apple is riding merely on its name, ease of use, and extremely successful marketing. I don't mind that ignormant American's purchase iPhone's because of how easy it is to mindlessly use one, but it is insulting for any body with an iPhone to feel that it is superior to Android.

Lol 16gb version just launched in my country for 1500 dollars and the price of of s2 is 750 dollars.......this is why android is having better success than ios even though ios is better......as steve jobs has told he would spend all his money to destroy android for copying ios I DONT THINK APPLE WILL DESTROY ANDROID WITH THAT PRICE they should reduce the price because s2 with better specs is half the price

To Apple iphone 4s users,
Apple would have had me if it had come with a bigger screen. That being said, how is Siri on dictation? I write online all the time and had been waiting for the new droids to come out with the larger/crisper screens. Then I thought that maybe I would not need the larger screen if Siri did an amazing job on dictation. So, can someone who has used it for that purpose chime in? Thx
