iPhone 5s introduce 64-bit processor, Dual LED, True-Tone Flashlight and Sapphire Touch-ID scanner which encrypts fingerprints mathematically on device without keeping the real image of users handprints. Changed its battery and LTE internet usage is about 8 hours when fully charged. Download apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter by entering Account (human icon) select Purchased which shows all apps in cloud and download on the top right corner of Today or Updates in App Store will install previous version of apps.

really good as backup phone, use whatsapp, signal, after change the battery can work as normal

This is still perfectly usable in 2023. Just replace the battery with a quality one like from iFixit, and it's so easy to do it.
