How's 8.0.2 working for you guys? Is it stable for 5s? I regretted upgrading my 4s to ios 7 immediately back then. Don't want to make that mistake again.

Iphone 6 is jun... moreLike I said, bugs. Android is still too buggy to run daily. mm-qcamera-daemon bug causes the processor to run at 100% which causes overheating and battery drain. This was on the latest version of KK.
G2 my brother had a problem where mobile data suddernly dropped off. All without warning. Also had problems with the screen not turning off after a viber notification was received. The UI was also very laggy at times at the GPS location was inaccurate and took too long to initialize, even outside. He needs bbm/viber to talk to his contacts on 3 continents.
My brother works in a financial institution and requires reliable communication. Not flaky android garbage. he literally threw his G2 in the drawer and never looked at it again. Now he has a Blackberry Q10 and iphone 6. BBM has never failed him once.
Me, I will be buying the passport to go with my 5S. the 5S has never once felt slow, charge is not an issue as I have a battery pack and chargers in my car and work. All the communications applications are high quality and work flawlessly. Especially BBM which is my primary messaging app.
These are the devices for serious users. If someone just wants to play games and watch cat videos on youtube, they can get an android.

I have no reason to trust any of the Android manufacturers unless they can prove otherwise that the bugs in the OS have been resolved.
Until then, Android will not get a cent of me or my families money. Plus now that iphones have larger screens, there isnt a single reason to buy Android.

Be practical.
There are many phones better than iphone 5s (for the price range) and better than the galaxy s5 as well....
Dont get me wrong. I would love to have an iphone but right now there is no ground breaking reason to make me switch back to IOS (i had an iphone 4 which i sold back to buy a galaxy s2 in 2011)

Do you think I care about Android's freedom after getting burned like that? Do you think I will spend a single cent on an Android device ever again? Better question, do you think I will even open an Android phone review or news article ever again?

Note 4 will be a good option as for a heavy Android user relying only on IPhone will be very hard. Or if you can wait for Nexus 6. Price wise it will be competitive with a Snapdragon 805, and Note 4 will be best as you are an Android user before.

I have a nexus 5 and a blackberry z10 (but both the phones are having problems so i have sent it for repairs and i havent received any of the devices yet). Thats why i want to buy a new phone and sell my nexus and blackberry once i get them back....
And my options are htc one m8, note 4, galaxy alpha and iphone 5s. Hopefully i'll get a new phone by diwali :/

This p... moreFalling in love with simplicity is easy. But what about the freedom android provides? Apple gives the consumers exactly what they want.... not less, but not more either....
Heck you cant even install launchers if at all you get bored with the user interface.
You are stuck with the same boring stuff with almost no customization (except the freedom to change the wallpapers and arrange the apps).
If apple would've considered the pricing of this phone and kept it at a lower cost, then iphones would literally beat the crap out of all other phones....
