It's on a iPhone and nothing else. For the price there are many features available on android devices that aren't on iPhone. Water proofing, wireless charging, IR focus, sterio speakers etc. How long has it taken apple to make a screen a decent size (after the arrogance of years of saying one handed operation is the most important thing) and include something as basic as NFC or swipe typing after all....
As for the price being comparable I have to disagree, I'm not sure where you are but I'm in the UK so I'll quote the good old British pound and Amazon prices.
iPhone 6 128gb £708
Samsung s5 + micro 128 card £450
How can that be justified????

In our country(myanmar)
iphone6 64 gb costs about 1000 us dollars & 16gb costs about 800$.very expensive.

Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have the most capable cameras according to DxOMark
Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus took the top spot in the prestigious DxOMark photography test. The camera performance of Cupertino’s duo is considered “gold standard” for smartphone image quality at the moment.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus earned 82 points each in the highly contested DxOMark photography test – the highest mobile score to date. They bested the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and Sony Xperia Z3, which shared the top spot before with a score of 79.
Apple iPhone 6 scored 83 for still photography, while its bigger brother topped it with 84. The better performance of the iPhone 6 Plus should hardly catch anyone by surprise as its camera features optical image stabilization.
Still images in both smartphones impressed with good overall exposure, impressive autofocus and color rendering, good detail preservation, and stellar flash performance. The iPhone 6 (as expected) showcased luminance noise in low light, as well as some ghosting and fringing.
Curiously, iPhone 6 topped its bigger brother in the video capture department and posted a score of 80. The iPhone 6 Plus managed a rating of 79 due to some stabilization artifacts visible during video capture.
Both smartphones demonstrated very fast and accurate autofocus. Colors remained attractive in all conditions, while noise remained fine-grained. The duo’s camcorders are the best ever tested by the DxOMark mobile team.

Sandy, 13 Nov 2014I regretted buying an iPhone, so please don't presume the w... moreI'd love to know what you think innovation is. android 5 lacks anything new or special, and hasn't had any unique features since 4.0 came out 2 years ago. phones have hit a wall in innovation in general, nothing is special anymore. everyone just wants something to say its the newest and biggest phone. iphones do what they need to, as do android phone. neither have earth shattering features anymore that are so unique that it makes them so much better. and the price tag on android phones with the same specs as an iphone is just the same. Samsung charges an arm and a leg for their products that have been the same for the last 2 years.

I have googles entire ecosystem on my iphone. (of course we can't say ok google) but we have that search option available to iphone users when needed. We also have google maps and if not I can switch to apple maps, I have both. I also have chrome, google docs and sheets.

I sold out after 6 months..... The reason was how inflexible iOS was and the insistence on iTunes at every turn. Also why pay so much for a phone that has no real innovation anymore....

I had no idea this phone came out. Somehow I thought people have moved on from iphones...pretty much everybody I know stopped using these about 2 years ago...they are terrible cheap phones made for people that think expensive=quality...
Now i had the misfortune of researching this phone today and I saw that it is not waterproof, does not have Mirrorlink, cannot do split-screen, does not have widgets, no expandable memory, no replacable bigger battery, no full HD screen, an 8MP camera with no image stabilizer, etc...
I am sorry to say but people who actually think they have a good and modern smartphone on their hands are just lying to themselves and are simply targets of a con-product...
Anybody who is gullible enough to pay over $200 for this, should seriously re-evaluate their logic/life/thinking process...

Seriously after 3 weeks of using iphone it hasn't impressed me. That ridiculously unoptimized ios 8 is the most bothering thing, multiple problems.iPhone really is for the masses - the simpleton user's device which does just the basics, and needs to show that Apple logo. It just falls short of what we are used to with an Android device. Words like lagging and over heating were not there with apple devices but now are and now android has turn the tables with htc one M8 by making you forget about lagging and over heating

Its having best color reproduction even compared to other Superamoleds like S5 etc.
I don't like to see that M8'S display .
Let's see hows M9 display .
U will not believe its fluidness is amazing and no lags and I prefer it over my other phone iPhone 6 .
Its sad but truth .
