Android Tech, 28 Jun 2014got updated to 4.4.4... no noticable lags like earlier vers... morePersonally, I think the Nexus 7 (2012) will get the Android L (5.0) update. After listening to the Google I/O conference, the new OS is a lot cleaner. As such, I believe the Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 4, and Nexus 10 will run smoother with Android 5.0. Of course, it's hard to tell at this stage. Either wait until October/November for the Nexus 9 or install the the Developer Beta version of Android L on your current to see what it's like.

So 4.4.3 is in the testing phase...probably it vl fix battery issues and advanced audio output and video codecs...
