Benchmark listing purportedly reveals 3GB RAM variant of Meizu Pro 6

Himanshu, 03 May, 2016

Less than a month after the Meizu Pro 6 was announced, a purported variant of the device has been spotted on GeekBench. The listing reveals a Pro 6 variant with 3GB RAM, compared to the 4GB RAM that the standard model packs.

Other specs revealed by the listing - including Helio X25 chipset and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS - are the same as the original model.

So, does that mean we're looking at a 'lite' version of the Pro 6? Well, we're not sure, given that the new variant appears to be only differing in the amount of RAM. Plus, the date of the listing - March 22, which is a few weeks before the Pro 6's announcement - suggests it could instead be a prototype Pro 6 model as well.

Most likely 4 cores (mp4) Mali T880. I wonder if it cost too much to bump the cores to at least mp6? Then go low(clock) and wide(cores) so it can sustain longer gpu performance instead of benchmark measurements..
