Hi..dear proud owners of BB C9220 could u pls tell me hows the camera quality..i own a BB C9380 since its a touch fone im planning to buy one qwerty mobile..my email and facebook pic uploads will be too heavy so kindly let me know how good are the pics taken in BB C9220 apart from that i know BB is pretty gud in functionality..simply rocks!!
need ur help asap..are the pics having same quality as BB C8520?:(

I've been waiting for a yr for a low cost BB phone to replace my nokia E63 jst for BBM and office mail. Do u think this would be a good time? if this is not, then which BB phone should I go for? Dont want to spend more than Rs. 12000 for a BB phone.

shanky, 23 Apr 2012being an os 7.1 version it should suporrt 3GFor those who want 3G version of this mobile, wait for Curve 9320 during May or June. :) That model will come with 3.2MP and GPS plus 3G:)

Unimpressive.
Blackberry 9220 compared with three year old 8520:
Same size (slightly thinner), same screen, same outdated 65K colours.( Come on blackberry, 65K colours was outdated at this price point in 2009).
Same 2mp camera, virtually similar specs.
The value additions are:- slightly increased memory, added radio, accelerometer, proximity and compass. The document reader should be attractive for those who read ebooks.
The price of the 9220 as compared to the 8520 is
US$ 200 (INR 10350) vs US$ 150 (INR 8000).
When compared to a six month old Samsung galaxy Y at US$ 135 (INR 7000), both are just blown away by the comparison. Today, Blackberry survives due to its sales in India & Iran.

There is no great difference between this phone (9220) and the three year old 8520. Same size,same screen, same camera. the other additions are, a later model blackberry OS, slightly increased memory, added Accelerometer, proximity, compass, and radio. The document viewer can be a plus for those who want to read ebooks. This model available for about US$ 200 (INR 10390) while the 8520 is for about US$ 150 (INR 8000). One would have expected greater changes after three years.....

I think BlackBerry deserves to be uplifted! Because OS 7.1 is definitely a give away for us. When we talk about BlackBerry it's definitely an "AWESOME" smartphone. Because it really socialize our life more professional and i think BlackBerry Curve 9220 is SUPERRRBB!
