They are adding FM radio to a BB phone .. i am stunned !! is it 2006-07 ?? they should hav done that 6 yrs ago..
1. No 3g . ok we will manage with 2g in India
2. No gps. yep,for Indian streets asking shopkeepers is the best way.
3.2MP camera .. even Nokia X3 has better
4.Apps are scarce .
5.carriers will try forcing you for BB service .. monthly 500 rs min .
6.Battery backup ?? ask me?? i still love that 1108 NOKIA in terms of Battery only. anyways BB has lot tasking.. so fine..
But price at 10,990 ??? it should have been 7000-8000. Not More !!

Seriously Worthless phone. i was a die hard fan of BB a year ago . but since apple and android , world is more xplorable.. unlike BB .. i mean it costs 10,990 for nothing.. better Go for NOKIA LUMIA 610 NFC at this price .. BB is hopeless

This could increase the sale,
adding radio to it is a good thinking specially for india market,
overall the phone is smart,cheaper and affordable.

Missing features, 19 Apr 2012Importatnt features which are missing. -3G -GPS -1GHZ CP... moreSee 3G nowadays is very common. Common BB companis are moving towards 4G now, you guys opt for 2G. If this would have been 3G. i might be a new BB customer. What like most about BB is their notification light. Cheers

As well it is the way to get rid of all those exceeding stocks that RIM claims to have such as 320 x 240 screens 2mp cameras and 8520 keyboards...

I think this phone is a very smart move, since it points emergent markets like india or indonesia which don't have 3g infrastructure

No 3g, yet no poblem in india. Because 3g service is not stable, smooth and affordable yet in India. You should use wifi instead. But what irritate me most is BBM itself. You have to pay a huge amount of money just for such services. In android platform, and even in symbian, you don't have to pay extra money for the similar service. So it is really foolish to boast of using BBM. Regular internet charge is applicable on other OS to get the similar service. With BBM you will be in touch with only those who also possess a such foolish mobile phone. Of course having keypad on a mobile device is out of date. That's why it's a phone for 'Rich Fools'.

No 3G? 65K colour screen? Are you kidding me? This is not a smartphone, but a dumbphone. How pathetic. The only difference between this and 8520 is the OS. And this dumbphone is not worthy of the $200 price RIM is asking for it, it should be more like $100-. Blackberry is definitely dying.

third class type set.only 2.4 screen.no 3g,no divx,only 114 ppi,2mp,no secondary,no touch screen,small and pathetic button,no android,what good?but price $210.so pathetic.r u kidding bb?huawei is best.huawei new handset ascend g300 is 1000% better than this handset and price only $150.so keep waiting and keep aloof from bb the canadian loss company.
