... moreI am sure you will be surprised to know how many people are actually longing for and willing to buy phones with physical keyboards. The reason they abandoned Bold is because of the shortcomings of the hardware as well as dated OS. Not everyone are looking to watch movie 'blockbusters' in tiny 4", 5" or 6" screens nor are they big into games. They prefer to have a quick view of a video at times ( purely for information purpose). They , if need to watch movies, would do so in a bigger 40" inch screens.
Admitting that Z30 is a pretty good enough phone ( I moved from a Q10 to a Z30, and I am comfortable with typing on a glass) , it might not gell with people who prefer type on physical keyboards. I know a lot many of people personally who are hanging on to their qwerty Nokias and older BlackBerrys because they have no other option at present ( Q5 or Q10 may not , for them, give the complete qwerty experience).
If priced sensibly, and marketed efficiently I see classic will be a decent success. Yes, I agree that I would go for a Z35 with a better screen and a fantastic camera. But that is not a priority as I am pretty happy and productive with my Z30.
I wish BlackBerry hear our silent voices.

Blackberry is thinking that there are enough people out there who still want mechanical keys to make the phone a success. I think if that were the case people wouldn't have abandoned their Bold series phones for touchphones.
Then there's the display form factor. What advantage does the square display have over the Z30? Other than not needing to turn the phone from landscape to portrait I can't think of one. Yet the disadvantage it has is in displaying nearly all media content which is X-by-Y and not X-by-X.
John Chen better work on getting a top spec Z30 successor in the lineup with a better camera as well as a mid and low cost phones to compliment the Z3.
As good as the Z30 and Z3 are it's going to take more models with different price points and more MARKETING to get the company out of the red. I don't see new models with old design style QUERTY keyboards and square displays getting the job done.

I love my BB Z10 but the battery is pretty wimpy. I want to get BB Z30 instead, but the only Z30 model sold on the online BlackBerry store is: STA100-5. Its LTE bands: 3,7,20,8 (1800/2600/900/800 MHz) are great internationally but NOT for USA. What am I to do? Where do I get my Z30 that works with AT&T or even Sprint? (Verizon has its own...but they sure aren't serious about BBs!)

To answer your second question, yes. It can run android applications - most of them.

i know the bb link . but its not working for simulated android apps like Viber!
