Dual-SIM Archos 50d Helium 4G launches for $129 in the US

Archos quietly introduced the 50d Helium 4G smartphone with dual-SIM and dual-standby capabilities for the US market. The budget-friendly smartphone will hit the shelves later this month with $129 price tag and Android 5.1 out of the box.



Design-wise, the Archos 50d Helium looks a lot like the OnePlus One. The handset will be offered with swappable rear-panels with stone finish in Storm Blue and Stone Grey.

The 70d Helium packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable memory. A 5” 720p display, 13MP main camera with LED Flash, and 5MP front-facing snapper are also on board. Connectivity options of the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS with A-GPS..

Measuring 8.4mm thick, the 50d Helium weighs 154 grams including the battery. The latter has a capacity of 2,100mAh.

i wish for that price they added 2 gb of ram. and it would sell like hotcakes.

Is this a good basic phone?. Dont see any section for archos in this site?!!?
