15 August, 2014

The newly announced Samsung Galaxy Alpha is heading to another UK carrier very soon. Three UK has recently announced its partnership with Samsung to offer the Galaxy Alpha subsidized on contract. Now EE UK (the product of Orange and T-Mobile UK merger) has done the same.

EE UK issued a press release announcing it has teamed up with Samsung to offer the Galaxy Alpha. There is no pricing or availability details announced just yet, but it says the Alpha will be available only with 4G plans.

If you decided to get a Galaxy Alpha from EE with a 4GEE or 4GEE Extra plan, you will also be getting these benefits:

  • Inclusive roaming calls and texts in select international destinations (4GEE Extra only)
  • 2 for 1 cinema tickets with EE Film
  • Exclusive discounts on EE’s superfast Fibre Broadband, so customers can enjoy blistering speeds in the home as well as on-the-move
  • Inclusive unlimited calls to 080 numbers (4GEE Extra only)

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected to hit the shelves worldwide this September just ahead of its key rival, the iPhone 6. First official information says it is going to retail at €600 contract-free.

Samsung produces worthless phones, even if it adds 8 gb of RAM. It will always lag very badly.

even more wrong. Three (3) has its own 3G and 4G networks. It used to use Orange for 2G in areas where 3G was very weak, but I dont believe they do that anymore
