Exclusive: 4.7" Apple iPhone 6 snapped with a working display
Yet more photos of the upcoming Apple iPhone 6 have arrived in our inbox. Thanks to our tipster, we can check out a powered-on iPhone 6 sitting on the iOS lockscreen.
It's not really clear if this is the white or gold version of the iPhone 6 (the white balance can be misleading). Besides those two colors we've also seen the space gray variant.
The smartphone should sport a 4.7" IPS LCD with a 960 x 1704 pixel resolution, 2GB of RAM and dual-core 2GHz 64-bit processor inside the Apple A8 chipset. Apple is expected to also announce a 128GB storage option for the phone. We are going to see the phone's announcement on September 9.
The company is also anticipated to announce a 5.5" version of the iPhone 6. This one will come with a sapphire display, which will be extra durable. A recent leak suggests the 5.5" iPhone 6 will measure around 158 x 77 x 7 mm, while the 4.7" iPhone 6 measures 138 x 67 x 6.9 mm
Thanks to our tipster for the photos!
