See the HTC One (M8) Champions League edition you can't buy

16 September, 2014

HTC has launched a UEFA Champions League special edition One (M8), as the tournament Group stage is finally about to start. The phone sports the competition's logo at the back as well as the Champions League trophy below the company's logo.

HTC has also preloaded a special Football Feed app to keep users informed with the latest news and scores from the Champions League. The app also covers the UEFA Europa League.

The phone is made to celebrate HTC's sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League, which has been going since late 2012. There's a catch though, as customers won't have the chance to buy the phone directly. Instead, you'll have to check out HTC's social media channels for further details on how to obtain one.

There are no further details at the moment regarding number of units made or eventual open market availability. Guess, we'll have to wait for HTC to share more information on its Facebook page in the coming days.

Typical HTC, every couple weeks they launch a new colour or edition of the M8 just to keep it in the news.
