HTC Desire 610 goes on pre-order in UK for £235

18 April, 2014

HTC Desire 610 was unveiled alongside Desire 816 at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Back at this press conference, the Taiwan manufacturer did mention that the Desire 610 would be available across Europe in May, but there was no word on how much the device would cost.

That's no longer a mystery as the device is now available for pre-ordering in the UK. Clove is offering SIM-free and unlocked unit for £235 (about $395) and the online retailer is now accepting the pre-orders.

The stocks are expected to arrive in early May and initially only the navy blue color option will be available. The white and the red hues of the Desire 610 will go on sale sometime later. While Clove is the only retailer to be accepting the pre-orders for the smartphone right now, other major retailers across UK are also expected to have the device on sale.

For your money, you will be getting 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM on a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front facing shooter, wide range of connectivity options, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,040mAh battery.
