Huawei Honor Holly launches in India with a 5" 720p display

14 October, 2014

Huawei officially revealed the Honor Holly for the Indian market. With the affordable smartphone, the Chinese company is offering an alternative to the recently launched Android One initiative.

Paying the $118 (INR 6,999) price for the Huawei Honor Holly gets you a 5" 720p display and dual-SIM functionality. The phone also features a MediaTek chipset with a 1.3GHz CPU (number of cores is unknown at this point), 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The Honor Holly feature an 8MP snapper teamed up with a 2MP front-facing one. The battery of the phone is 2,000mAh and it runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Naturally, Huawei's Emotion UI is garnishing the OS.

The Huawei Honor Holly is available exclusively at online retailer Flipkart and it doesn't seem willing to leave India's borders.
