No support on XDA as of yet, you should say.

I wouldn't start sweating yet, as the phone is not easy to get hold of. Just wait til it has been on the market for a few weeks.

Just my 2 cents..
Anyone planning to purchase this should go for LG OPTIMUS ONE P500, as there is no support on XDA Forums for this. SO No custom Roms :( and in India there is no release date.

Will this phone launch in India?
if Yes,
when and for how much?

I am planning to buy optimus one. But if this phone launches in India and in around same price bracket as of optimus one, then this would be a way better phone than optimus one.

> In reply to Cranky @ 2011-01-02 12:23 from PHWI - click to readAs others have said the handset works perfectly well on all other networks apart from Telstra nextG 850mhz network. Optus and Vodafone networks and all the resellers from those networks will accept the phone without issues since they run on 2100mhz.

It will currently also work on the Telstra/3 partnership 3G network that runs on 2100mhz and is found in the major cities but this network will be shut down in the near future so it's not recommended that Telstra users buy in to this phone.

Cheers

First how it is possible that releas date is may 2011 when it is relesed in finland way back in december 2010. And the price is about 289 so the price tag of 18000 $ isn't possible .

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-12-24 18:22 from ut72 - click to readBuddy, I understand your views about Chinese crap but you also gotta take a look at the specs before you decide upon the price. China is not a country managed by fools, they are really smart to first ensure the market type and then manufacture products and price them accordingly. For e.g, ZTE manufactures the Blade and Racer however Dell re-brands the handsets and sells them in India for almost double the cost. ZTE Blade costs $200 in the US and UK however Dell sells it for 16k in India (XCD 35). Considering that, expect the price to be a little steep.
