To all those wondering if the Ace is available in the Philippines, it's available now at Samsung stores for 15.5k or at CMK Cellphones for 14.7k

lg optimus one has 3.2 inch tft 256k colours screen with 600mHZ processor AND A 1500mAH LI-ION BATTERY
while galaxy ace on other hand has 3.5 inch tft 16m color screen and 800mHZ processor WITH ONLY A 1350mAH LI-ION BATTERY WHICH CLEARLY MEANS A SUPER-BAD BATTERY LIFE EXPERIENCE. . . .!!!.......

ooppss ..... oh god ly two ago ace getting hanged severl times i hand over samsung outlet soon - battery getting heat always when using continously more then 15mins & i cant play avi video more internal memory requried ...............
heatset model very old type perfoms also poor

I've been using this phone for a week. It's great. It doesn't lag at all, battery life is OK for an Android smartphone, the RAM is sufficient to run many tasks at a time, and a good quality headset is included in the package. Overall a very good deal for the price.

My friend bought this nice looking phone 1/2 week ago, it's a very good smartphone, i tried many times but the big big big problem is the Battery Life!!!! my god last long about nearly 12 hours or less if you hardly use it...
The battery is less than iphone 3g/3gs...i can confirm this!!! same problems like iphone 3!!!
Iphone 3 use a 1420 mah this is only 1350 !!
My question is...Samsung what are you Doing???
I am very disappointed about this samsung ace :(
