If Sammy thought this was a phone for the specification crazy with 4 cores. Then those crazies looked beyond that and found 15fps recording, adreno 205 and snapdragon 200. Sammy please stop belittling us.

this is a total crap. Who will purchase such a piece of garbage worth 18000. and haa ! samsung is joking to sell a smart phone with a video resolution of 720p @15fps. i mean wow, this is a real joke but i can't help it.

I think, Samsung is thinking that people are fools and they would pay whatever amount they fix for any useless phone adn just for the name 'Samsung'. But it is not. Nowadays people are smart. They expect value for money.
If Samsung continues this, it will soon be landing in the same situation of Nokia. Because earlier Nokia was doing the same thing, and so people threw them out quickly. So Samsung should not underestimate and misread the people, but should provide value for money. Also they should reduce price instead of selling phones at higher price just for the name 'Samsung'.

by looking at the cortex A5 and Adreno 203....I feel like crying.....these are just stunts to fool people n not let other cheaper brands take over the market....! 15 fps....give me a break! Even the almost forgotten Lumia 710 does better!!!!!

Samsung is now really showing desperately that it can give high spec devices in low price. The main thing is they failed. Don't know what they think of people fool may be. Big no to more than a year old cortex A5(too old now), no to low resolution sceen( come on guys u get way better screen than this one in this price points). May be it's for those hardcore samsung fans. But please guys don't be single brand specific lover. There are so many devices better than this in this price tag also many offers in different sites. Just go and do some research because 17k-18k is not LITTLE money. Well I don't hate samsung but my opinion is below average product.

It may have 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A5 processor and an Adreno 203 GPU, but they are very old.
Looking at the processor, many people may think that this is good phone. But not. The specification might say its a quad core unit but the specifications are pretty old and a lot of applications won’t be able to play because of the hardware limitations.
The quad core Cortex A5 processor is no better than a dual core Cortex A7 or A9 processor.
Also check the other specs. The video is just 15fps which is not good at all. The front camera is just VGA.
So... overall buying this phone would be waste of your money.

This is a most wanted phone in terms of spec,size,price and particularly to compete with local brands. It's going to hit better than Galaxy Grand. I liked it. Well researched Samsung....

I read in an article that Samsung is launching this model - Galaxy Win to contain the Indian brands Micromax and Karbon. After going thru the specification of Galaxy Win, I am sure this model is going to fail.
Because the configurations of this phone (for Rs. 18000) is not matching with the higher configurations of Micromax A110 or A116 HD which are available for cheaper rates. Who would be ready to pay 18000 for such lower configuration when you get better configuration phones like A116 HD for 14000.
So, it is advisable not to buy this phone and waste your hard earned money.
Still if you are very specific about Samsung, you may spend another 3000 more and buy Galaxy grand which is better than Win.
