switchted to cyanogenmod 1 n half years ago...my note 2 is almost 3 yrs old but its now having almost all the latest phone features like navigation bar, removed all unwanted galaxy apps and the 3yr old battery still survives 4 hrs of screen on time...note 2 with touchwiz is a clear waste of money compared to the present phone generation...The 2 gb of Ram makes it maximum use only on cyanogenmod no lags like touchwiz evenon basic funtions like opening diaload n contacts...

I have tried to implement Benn's suggestion about swiping the tab button on keyboard to change language ( mine stuck at U.S.English ) but not successful. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Guys i have a tip.
Before you upgrade to kitkat, make sure you backup all of your files from internal storage and sd card. Bcoz i got a problem when i upgraded the software. My phone hangs and the battery drops easily. I have 50 percent at night but empty when i woke up.
So after you upgrade, make a hard reset or reformat your phone.
Now i dont have any problem. No hang, battery life goes back. I can use it in two days without charging. Please reformat also your sd card before inserting.
Hope this will help.
