LG G2 pre-order price in Germany drops to €500

22 August, 2013

Original info put the LG G2 price at €600 in Europe, but the phone just cropped up in Germany at MediaMarkt for €500 (this is for the 16GB version). The 32GB version is not available at that store, but the price initial difference was €30 (€600 – 16GB, €630 – 32GB, so it should be €530).

Both Black and White versions of the G2 flagship are available for preorder and shipping is expected to start on September 30, same as in the rest of Europe.

The LG G2 is available in a few other stores in Germany at the original price of €600, but they'll probably drop it soon. We also tried MediaMarkt stores in other countries, but the G2 isn't available in any of them. Note that the G2 is also on pre-order in the UK for £468 (€550).

The G2 is LG's latest flagship with a 5.2" 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 13MP optically stabilized camera and 3,000mAh battery. You can check out our hands-on for more info.
