Quad-core Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim quietly launched

15 March, 2014

Samsung has very quietly launched a new smartphone: the Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim in the Brazilian market.

The name is a bit misleading, considering that the specs of the S3 Slim are some way below the original Galaxy S3.

The phone is rocking Android 4.2 out of the box and a 4.5” display of qHD (960 x 540) resolution. It also only comes with 8GB storage with 1GB RAM, and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. On the photography side, it's sporting a 5MP primary shooter, with a VGA front-facing unit. The handset is available in both black and white color variants.

Given the specifications of the device, don't expect it to break the bank, but pricing is yet to be confirmed. So far the smartphone has only appeared on the Brazilian Samsung website, but it won't be surprising if it makes it to other developing markets, too.

Thanks, Matheus Andrade Rodrigues, for the tip!

Galaxy S3 slim , meaning just the specs are slim , the height and weight are fat , ugly and the display is awful with that resolution . If the price is "slimmer" than MotoG it can be buyed if not is another galaxy phone .
