RicAndroid, 27 Feb 2013LG has the bootloader locked up pretty tightly on this phon... moreyeah I hear ya! I bought this phone but then went back to my G2X until someone makes a custom ROM for it. I read in a forum recently though that someone did get the bootloader unlocked just a week or so ago so now its only time...

LG has the bootloader locked up pretty tightly on this phone. Reading the negative posts over at xda makes me want to get the Samsung Galaxy Relay now.

New model LG Optimus L9 P768f, just released in Australia, is superior phone.
4.7" screen, 8MP primary camera (3264x2448 pixels), full sim card and other specs. are similar. Just bought this phone, it is awesome, no problems so far.

I have bought the phone unlocked from U.S.A through my brother in law ,with rubberized silicon case.The phone is superb and works good but without T-mobile in built Applications.I recommended this slim phone to my relatives.

I'm almost to the point of smashing my still on Froyo Sidekick 4G. I've been comparing prices with my partial discount and this seems to hit the mark.
The Relay is just too expensive and it seems Samsung is pretty much ignoring this model too.
The mytouch 4G Slide is very cheap now and does have good specs but I want a bigger screen instead of getting another 3.7 phone.
Sure, I'd love the Nexus 4...buuuut....once again...too expensive. AND hard to find here in T-Mobile Puerto Rico.
I'll miss the keyboard but at least LG has a history of awesome dev support over at Cyanogen and xda. It's only a matter of time.
