My micromax p250 tab is not starting.once some colourful lines appeared and after this it doesn't start.so can you tell me what's the problem.

I have ordered this micromax funbook alpha p260 tab via homeshop 18 in rs.6000, 3 years ago... Hardly used, then the charger was broken, used usb cqble via another charges but slowly the battery backups gone low, now the tab is off since 1 year, it is still working bcoz when i on it, it shows a micromax logo (only when connected to usb charger)....
Now, from 6 months, i have left the tab because of no use, but now, i want to make use of it but the amazing problem appears, the battery swells like a ballon and the back cover get opened it self, of course it takes a long time to perform this activity, as per my observation, i think that its battery needs to be replaced, can any one help me that what type of action i need to take if i need my tab working again, and did i go to service centre or a simple repaiiring shop (warrenty period is over) ? In how much money, the tab will get working again ? Please help GSMARENA

Battery is giving only 2hrs. life It is not meeting specification 5hrs when anygame playing ie., multimedia.
Any suggestion?
micromax is not doing any thing dedicating for the senior citizens by providing some FM radio for time pass.
