Micromax launches Canvas Infinity with 18:9 full vision display

Prasad, 22 August 2017

Micromax has decided to get on the wide screen bandwagon with the new Canvas Infinity. The phone has been launched in India for INR 9999 ($155) and will be available exclusively on Amazon India.

The Canvas Infinity has an 18:9 display with curved corners that looks like the one on the LG Q6. Micromax even calls it Full Vision, which is also what LG calls it, so it seems Micromax forgot to draw the line somewhere.

The Canvas Infinity is powered by a Snapdragon 425, which is a step down from the not-too-impressive-to-begin-with Snapdragon 435 on the LG Q6. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

The Canvas Infinity has a 13 megapixel camera on the back with f2.0 aperture and PDAF. On the front is a 16 megapixel sensor with soft flash and Real Time Bokeh feature. The phone is powered by a 2900mAh battery and Android Nougat.

The phone will go on sale on Amazon starting September 1.
