I am really interested in buying this phone but I am living in Malaysia and haven't located a seller who is willing to send it there. I really like weird phones (am using a Neonode N2 right now :D )

That is true.. Micromax doesn't have contact number for its customers and the ones they have listed on their website never work!
Also, no dealer of Micromax in Mumbai or Pune is aware of this phone. When we say 'Modu T' they feel like we are talking greek & latin!
This Modu & Micromax combination surely fails on advertising and customer support ground even before they begin their joint venture...

I must agree with the general comments here,
While i would not miss the camera i would certainly not be willing to pay more than $100 for this phone.

                          It's basically a 3g Neonode N2
However the battery is awful - but that may be due to the form factor - I would get this phone - This phone is good for people that just want a phone - and perhaps use added features from time to time -

But teh main question remains , where is instrument. Launced ion 20th Oct & no dealer in Delhi is aware of it? Micromax it self have no culture of enretianing the queries , they never reply to queries via mail and thier tell no never ever work. Try any no of any of thier offices or dealers.

so , specificatiosn apart , where to get it?

It has a camera(the phone is modular) so need to attach the camera and take the photo.

costly around 12 k in india that is $280.with these poor features it should not be more than $100.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2010A great idea, but obviously flawed in design. Phones nowad... moreBUt it does mean you can choose which of those bits you want and not pay extra for having them, either in terms of money or bulk, and everyone can just buy the same phone and add the jackets they want to have - and then leave that on all the time, if that's what turns you on. Or if you -don't- mind changing bits around you can do that too - that's the beauty: you can fiddle it to whatever suits you best at the time! THere's potentially an IP68 jacket somewhere too.. who knows. THe point is the FLEXIBILITY....

this phone has pieces attached to it to do certain functions like the camera, you should plug in that thingy camera first before you can use it, the specifications are right, the phone itself hasn't got a camera, but with the help of that thingy, you can use it as a camera. advisable users are patient for carrying small bits for you to use it completely.. :)
