More Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 images and specs leak

18 February, 2014

We saw the first picture of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 just yesterday, courtesy of the famous @evleaks tipster. The slate is supposed to run on the Snapdragon 800 chipset and pack a 10.1" 1080p display. Naturally, Android 4.4 KitKat is in control.

Today we got even more and better photos of the rumored device (except they have those huge watermarks on them). You can check both the white and black flavor of the slate.

The leak didn't bring us just the looks of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2. The tipster, who published those on Twitter, spilled the beans on a few more specs. As it turns out, the LTE-enabled Xperia Tablet Z2 will spread at 266 x 172 x 6.4 mm and will weigh 436g, making it the lightest premium 10-incher. Its Wi-Fi-only version has the same footprint, but is even lighter at 426g.

The Xperia Tablet Z2, just like its predecessor, will IP58-certified device for water and dust resistance. Its uncovered 3.5mm audio jack will be water-resistant as well.
