Moto G5 Plus goes on pre-order in the UK, it will have a blue version too

Vlad, 22 March 2017

Yesterday some press renders of an upcoming color version for Lenovo's Moto G5 leaked. And after we saw the Blue Sapphire G5, today it's time to take a look at the blue version of the Moto G5 Plus (pictured to the left). Yes, it turns out that the G5's higher-end sibling is also going to be clad in blue at some point in the future.

In the meantime however, the G5 Plus has gone up for pre-order in the UK in grey and gold - those are the only two official hues for now. Carphone Warehouse has an exclusive on the G5 Plus for the UK, it proudly announces on its listing pages.

The phone can be had in SIM-free form for £249.99. Alternatively you can nab one for free if you pick a two-year operator contract that costs at least £18.99 per month. For that lowest amount you get 600 minutes, 5,000 texts, and 500MB of data each month from the retailer's own MVNO, iD. At the other end of the scale, an O2 plan costing £40 per month will give you 10GB of data alongside unlimited minutes and texts. There are plenty of options in between these, however.

Regardless of whether you choose to buy the Moto G5 Plus SIM-free or with a contract it's going to be delivered to you by April 4. The Moto G5, on the other hand, is already available in the UK.

Better to get the lenovo p2 from 3 mobile unlocked for £199.99 plus a £10 pay as you go sim.

Why always color option matter? You buy a phone with fancy color and pqy an extra money for it, but you end up with putting it under the cheap black plastic case
