01 April, 2015

After Google published the code for the Android 5.1 Lollipop update, Motorola was quick enough to work on it. The Google Play Edition of the Moto G is getting the Android 5.1 OTA update.

Though the Motorola Moto G Google Play Edition was discontinued early this year, the company hasn't forgotten about the phone.

Bearing LMY47M build number, the OTA measures about 171MB and mostly brings under-the-hood tweaks and performance improvements to achieve overall stability.
