Two Droid Maxx, pretty much the same complain. After 4.4.4 update camera was working fine and dandy for few days. After that I started getting error messages, "restart camera app" when ever I would launch the camera app. On launching there would be a BLANK screen with two NON-WORKING buttons on the bottom (one for swaping front-back camera and other for movie). Initially restarting the phone helped but now even that is not helping. After 3 days of camera not working, suddenly the camera worked for 20 minutes and replaced again with the BLANK screen

You can't.You need to enlist the file manager on your phone.
It has in Google Store.

I think x8 proseccor is very impressive. Phone is really snappy n fast in all kind of operation. Battery backup is decent. Its around 12 hours till its last breath. Design is really attractive. Its a very glossy plasticy structure. Its by far the thinnest LTE phone I have seen plus it has a large display. Surprisingly it fits your hand magically. "OK Google Now" is a very nice feature. You can command your phone without even touching it. Dialer is boring. Speaker n call quality is good. Touch interface n screen are smooth. Camera is a big disappointment. Memory is less.
In totality its a good buy. I have been using it from last 2 days.
