Motorola Moto G 4G gets $40 price cut in the US

04 August, 2014

The Motorola Moto G 4G has been on sale in the US for almost two months so now is a great time for a discount – the phone normally goes for $220 but Best Buy has temporarily cut the price to $180. It's available in both black and white.

That's the price of an 8GB Moto G, which doesn’t have 4G LTE connectivity and perhaps more importantly no microSD card slot.

All that sounds great but this promo isn't available for home delivery, you have to go to your local Best Buy. Still, for $40 it's worth it.

About a week ago the Motorola Moto G 4G hit the UK at £160 off-contract or £20 on contract.

Does anyone know if this price is available in California? And, if so, for how long it will be available?

Good price point with reasonable compromises. However I read on GSM user complaints that Moto X suffer from low call volume since new update, this problem will also impact some Moto G handset as well.
