HTC One M8 benchmarks show unparalleled performance

Rightware, the folks behind several popular Android benchmarking tools, have managed to obtain the results of the upcoming All New One a.k.a. M8 flagship from HTC.



The unreleased smartphone beats out all of the competition handily in the all-round Basemark OS II and the graphics-intensive Basemark X benchmarks. The performance in the web browser-testing Browsermark wasn't so impressive but the M8 still managed an excellent 7th place.

The Snapdragon 801-sporting HTC M8 appears to be the real deal, and should provide some killer performance even in the heavy competition of current flagships. I'm posting this from my m8. It's 9pm, unplugged at 6am, screen has been on max brightness all day, listened to music about 5 hours, been playing with it all day of course since this is my first 24 hours with it, battery is currently at 45%. Don't...

The GS5 was caught taking steroids

Never seen HTC devices cheating. It was Samsung that cheated in benchmarks. The higher score is also a result of optimized software, unlike on GS5 which is full of bloatware.
