New Skype update takes advantage of iOS 9 features
Skype has updated its iOS app today, bringing it up to version 6.3. This is obviously not as big an update as version 6.0, which was released last month boasting a completely new design.
However, Skype 6.3 for iOS does come with a few useful new things. First off, it is now fully compatible with iOS 9, the latest iteration of Apple's mobile operating system. This means you can use Slide Over and Split View on iPads, essentially running Skype while also using another app alongside it. This makes sharing things through Skype especially easy.
You're now also able to reply to your Skype chats straight from the notification that shows up on your lock screen. And finally, it's easier to start a Skype chat from Spotlight search. That's because your Skype contacts now show up in Spotlight when you search for people, and from that point on it's a simple matter of tapping that contact to start Skype and get chatting.

iOS is the most advanced operating system in the world. Perhaps even all of time. Nothing even comes close to matching it.
