New teaser reveals Snapdragon-powered ZUK Z2, May 31 launch

Himanshu, 23 May, 2016

Just days after ZUK CEO effectively revealed that the company's upcoming Z2 smartphone will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 8890 chipset, a new teaser has been spotted on Weibo, throwing up more questions than answers as it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon logo instead.

There's, however, no information on exactly which Snapdragon SoC is there, although SD652 and SD820 are currently being rumored. While there's no confirmation on this, it could be possible that ZUK is preparing two variants of the Z2.

Aside from information on chipset, the teaser also reveals that the handset will be launched on May 31, which is next Tuesday. Another thing worth mentioning here is that the Chinese text in the teaser reads "small screen flagship," indicating that the handset will mostly likely sport a sub 5-inch display.
