LG's G5 and V10 phones receive NIAP certification for enterprise and military use

Himanshu, 06 May, 2016

LG has announced that its G5 and V10 phones are now certified by the U.S. National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP). This means that both devices have been deemed fit for use in security-focused environments like enterprise and military.

"With the growing importance of higher security in business these days, we believe a firm security platform is a must for mobile workplace devices," said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. "This certification is confirmation that LG smartphones are among the most secure mobile devices available today."

It's worth mentioning that NIAP certification is currently recognized by as many as 25 countries including Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
