Meet the SIM Free Blu Studio 6.0 HD

21 April, 2014

BLU has been known to offer contract-free Android phones for bottom-dollar prices. Sure, they are mostly mid-range offerings, and their latest device, the Studio 6.0 HD, is no different.

More phablet than phone, the Studio 6.0 packs a ginormous 6” 1280 x 720 display, a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU, and a 3000 mAh battery. How much does this bundle cost? A mere $250. On the software side, it's only packing Android 4.2.2, and there isn't any word on when it'll be rocking KitKat.

There hasn't been any mention of the amount of RAM the Studio 6.0 will be powered by, but the other current Studio phones all have 1GB inside of them, so it's safe to assume that the Studio 6.0 will be the same.

The phone will begin shipping next month, anyone here interested in picking this up? Or do you want your Android phone to have more RAM, so it's future proof?
