Motorola starts rolling out Moto G (2nd Gen) Marshmallow update

Himanshu, 10 February, 2016

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the second-generation Motorola Moto G has started rolling out. The update is currently hitting both 3G and LTE-enabled variants in India.

The roll-out comes over a couple of weeks after the company started soak testing the update in India. The soak-test was also launched in Brazil at the same time, but we're yet to hear about the public roll-out there, although that shouldn't take long if it hasn't started already.

The update brings along the usual Marshmallow goodies, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions. For those who aren't yet aware, Motorola has already posted Marshmallow update release notes for the Moto G 2014 on its India support website - head to the Source link below to to take a look.
