UMI Zero 2 is another dual-screen Android smartphone

06 July, 2015

The Chinese handset maker UMI teased a new ZERO 2 smartphone with dual-screen. Following the suit of YotaPhone and YotaPhone 2, the newcomer appeared in a teaser image on UMI’s official Facebook page alongside a “duplex life” punchline.

UMI ZERO 2 has a secondary E Ink display on its back, just like the YotaPhone family. The screen delivers better reading experience, while consuming minimal amount of power.

While the company didn’t release any more details, the rumor mill points at a 5.2” 1080p display, MediaTek MT6752 mobile chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13MP rear snapper, and 8MP front-facing camera. UMI is expected to launch the ZERO 2 for about $500.
