Bummer. Euro only 900/2100 3G bands. Really hoping for a North American 1700/2100 Tmobile version. Come on SE, quad band 3G!!!

In a way I am also happy to see it because it proves the success of Sony's Xs.

Never say something without being sure in it 1st. That 1080p on cells is just goodie that ARMADA can bring, so it doesn't mean that it's for movies, what about 1080p capture of work mates instead? Seems you ain't mobile person at all. As I said, I use my bberries for work and cheap java phones for rss and bookmarked pages. Some peps like such mobile cinemas, some doesn't, but please, use your brain before you make judgement on someone. One advice for you - if people think that you are fool, better stay silent than open your mouth and prove it. Regards!

It's like Nokia never heard that SE was the first to adopt Xy modeling for thier mobile phone products !!

Ref Etolix! Could you tell me why you're SO excited about having 1080p on a mobile phone? Seriously! What is the point of watching hd on a small screen? I REALLY don't get it! I have a 32" tv at home, and even that is not big enough to truly appeciate the finer detail that hd captures!

Good news for SE X2 "FCC approves Sony Ericsson Xperia X2." So X2 is not far from showcases and X3 will be following it hopefully according to the given dates.

I wish this cellp have ARMADA processor(since it will get launched at feb 2010 or so). As I heard arround, new iPhone is supposed to have it, maybe iPhone 4g unlocked and super powerful. Marvells ARMADA is 1.2 ghz processor capable of decoding 1080p videos, supports full flash and resolutions over 1024p, it's built exlusively for new phones and smartbooks.

we still have time to make our judgement , since the new director of se had an interview and he claimed that major changes will happen in se portofolio and the company will leap forward with these changes.
i will stick to se for another year to see if thses changes and promissing ,, i suggest you do the same .
next year we shall not see more than 10 new products in se , they will have market segment , mid ranges , high end and very high end phones and they will stop the production of all old models to produce the new models in a shorter time and not to loose the factory resources oon the old ones.
also they will produce the new models in large quantities so it will reach the marke to all and without shortages as it is happeninig now .
so next year we shall see se shifting their traditional line up and will have new lines mostly on services and web oriented phones , , we shall still see cybershot and walkman phones 1 or 2 just to keep the tradition and keep the old faithful customers happy.
unfortunately with this new policy se will never be the leader in the market like se and samsung since most of the sales are the low end phones if you are going to count quantity ,
se will be lets say a high end quality manufacturer and this is targetting a small segment of the growing market .
we only hope that that predictions of the new directors work out so we shall be happy to have this forum ongoing as it is
