First u need wipe all cache and data in recovery mode and then u install update .zip then u see ur device working properly

MIUI 6 was 48k in aTuTu Benchmark 5.7.3 (64-bit)
Updated to MIUI 7 now 42k :(

i have updated my mi 2, with the latest miui 7 (5.10.15), and its started heating
even when the is off line and with no use...
so worry about my phone........
going to say no to the developer rom..
m going with the stable version

I did a factory reset on my phone running miui 6.7 before global stable version. But my locale now is under china.. can i still recieve the ota update?.. or can i just download the miu 7 .?.. hope someone could help me ..

AnonD-447975, 28 Oct 2015how sure are you on that?? I have a redmi 2 prime!!!I too have a redmi 2 prime. From what i've seen, redmi 2 prime got 4.4.4 kitkat with miui 7 on top.
