I just downloaded it to my 6270. It seems quite small... 102 kb? I took the large version.
When I try for example Google it says "application error". Can someone help? Or does it not support the 6270 yet?

HBK, you need an internet connection. See my post.
People, get answers from my.opera.com forums.

Frank, you're right. Thanks (BTW, in Romania, for unlimited net I would have to pay 35$, so I use the wap for 4$ : ) ).

AleX , I had that problem too, long time I was trying to access the internet through my cellphone on my PC using WAP connection, and I noticed that it only send information, it doesn´t send, so Opera Mini works just like Internet Explorer, it sends and receives, so your connection in WAP only sends, and INTERNET sends and receives....well that´s what I think, here in Honduras is the same, but I only pay 10 dollars and have unlimited INTERNET and WAP ;) hopely helps;)

Hi! I have a Nokia 6230i on Orange Romania and WAP UNLIMITED activated.
A few days ago I downloaded Opera Mini v1.2 but it didn't worked on my phone.
I saw on the my.opera.com/community/forums some advice for Nokia series 40 v2 :
In phone's "Settings" -> "Configuration" -> "Personal config. settings" I added a new
Access point with "GPRS access point" = 'wap'. After this Opera still didn't worked,
but the "G" network icon appeared on the upper-left corner of the display.
I modified the "GPRS access point" to 'internet' and after this Opera worked flawless.
Now can anyone explain me why it didn't worked only with "GPRS access point"='internet'
and if this situation is normal?
I want to know this because (ONLY) when I browse with Opera I have
to pay for the data traffic, even I have Wap Unlimited. With Nokia's internal browser
I can browse anything (wap/web pages) and with any config. settings with no extra costs.
Can anyone explain me this, please?
I also noticed that if the java apps installed on my phone access the net I have to pay for
            the traffic.
            Thanks!

I'm using a Motorola C650(Pune, India - Airtel Network) . Recently downloaded Opera mini, excellent browser. Displays most websites properly. Also allows to use forms on websites to check mails and all. Much faster than the built in browswer. Interface is good, especially the option to view full screen.

I changed the image quality to high in settings and also reduced the font size. So it shows more text and better images. One bug I faced was, "Out of memory error" after browsing about 10 pages, but if you click OK, and again click on the hyperlink, it will load the page.

Another problem I faced, How to "go back" to previous page? (rather than going to history and selecting prev page). I'm using v.1.2.2960, built 20060124(CLDC-1.0,MIDP-2.0.)

I have been install this software on my SE K750i, it works great and download very fast, more faster and reliable than it's orginal SE browser. I almost cannot believed that it works on phone. Because of that now I am not too often browsing from my Nokia 9500, seems Opera version in N9500 need to be upgrade.

if your Opera Mini says: "processing" and that´s all, then it´s because your connection is wap not web. for example I had this problem I was like, :( I wont be able to use this wonderful program, but then I changed my setings I was using a connection : wap.megatel.hn then I changed it to web.megatel.hn ... as you can see I changed it from wap to web, wap only receives information web sends and receive ;)you should have another connection like that which you can use ;) hope this helps!

Wowwwwwwwww. People i recommend this browser, wow i am using a nokia 6230 and just downloaded it. The result

                                Pages load faster
Pages look excellent. (Reminds me of using Internet Explorer)

Just go to the opera mini link ( Takes you to there site)
                                Go download it
                                Something about opening unknown app.
It asks about testing WAP connection
After it says something about success click dismiss
Then it is saved in app.
To access it in menu go to app, opera.
( This is just basic it the download as i remember it.)
