I've been running the beta and it sucks! it plain sucks! it becomes horrible to do something as simple as a scroll on webpages piled with flash stuff, mostly banners. Videos feel sluggish, my desire would become extremelly hot and the battery would run down at an incredible pace, sometimes like 1% every minute!

Flash on smartphones? no thanks!!

I don't see why this can't be put into android 2.1.. Unless my phone gets an upgrade (spica), this is pointless.. I mean some phones are still stuck at pre-2.0, like the magic, g1, galaxy.. Flash support may never come to them..
So whether flash is released or not, many users of current android phones can't enjoy it. Its all up to the manufacturer to decide whether to upgrade their phones, and owners of low end phones are out of luck, as most manufacturers care mostly of their flagship phones.
One reason why I bought my android phone is for the flash support that was supposedly coming for android 2.0+ devices..

                    good stuff.

the html 5 argument is a load of rubbish. why would you want to wait for technology which isnt going to come in time for your device? embrace what technology we have now, and flash 10.1 is now.
