30 August, 2016
Instead, a new brand will be used, though what it is hasn't been revealed yet.

I don't know how to start criticizing this... Does the end of Nexus mean Android will launch an OS that forces OEM's to update their phone more regularly and for a longer period? I doubt... And yes Google thanks for taking the one thing i loved about Nexus, pure android! But no lets make OEM´s put their crap over the OS (and take months to update the phone) Really I just like google because Apple and MS are even worse... You cant have a decent coherent medium term strategy...

AnonD-92238, 31 Aug 2016only good choice left is OnePlusThe OnePlus 3 is nice. I didn't really like the first two phones. But the OnePlus 3 still won't support T-Mobile wifi calling, which is really hard for me to give up. And it's a phablet, which I'm not that into. I also have found OnePlus business pratices, in the past, to be a bit sleazy. They are masters of hyping their phones, but they haven't always lived up to the hype or been so good about subsquent support. Still, it's obviously a good value for the money.

                          Good news for dbrand.

                            No htc branding - check.
                            Google's own branding - check.
Extra bloatware & absence of stock Android ---? No, thank you Google.

mir, 30 Aug 2016Looks like both google and HTC don't want to have anything ... moreOH that's sad. So, copied phones are more beautiful, don't you worry once it reaches in the hands of copiers and copied it won't be ugly anymore.

Extra skin on top of vanilla Android? How strange. So who's going to get the updates first?
