AnonD-9000, 12 Sep 2016did u just implied u prefer ur phone to break into pieces t... moreDude it was just some humor on a light note. I know very well that IPhone didn't bend just like that. And I respect Apple for giving a choice to this world.

Right now, if you notice, Samsung are making a lot of things, refridgerators, appliances, TVs, displays, other components, etc. and so they can't be judged on the basis of phone alone. Secondly, even the phone is not that bad.
See the S and Note series, the hardware is improving like anything. The camera is great, the video department often ends up being the best, the audio quality is excellent, the OS portion could use improvements but that's ok.

AnonD-569884, 06 Sep 2016I don't understand the obsession around the removable batte... moreEuhm mr. HouseofCommens, I have a dust and water proof device WITH a user-replaceable battery. Coincidentally it's also a phone from Samsung. So have millions of other consumers. That phone is the Galaxy S5.

In fact with my (official) QI-charging back-cover not only does it have a perfectly flush camera but also improved looks and durability since the thicker cover is of much better quality than that flimsy orginal paperthin crap-cover.

So it's not that Samsung has no clue how to make phones that are dust and waterproof and have replaceable battery.

AnonD-9000, 06 Sep 2016LOL samesung still ths same cheapo phone manufacturer that ... moreYes of course, iFone should patent expensive prices, because who can forget the incredible features of your iFone... which include bendable chassis, which prevents it from breaking, by bending itself.
And of course, the incredible phone holding training for optimal signal. Yes my friend, you are holding it wrong... :D

I know Samsung made a big error with this one. But I'll be honest with you.
Samsung is a good company, and it doesn't need my statement anyways for that. And they're handling this event way better than some companies do, by issuing a recall when they could've refused.
Who cares for 29 customers out of 1 million? Samsung does! We should be proud of it.

                Dear Samsung,

Just like you don't give it all in one set, you can't get it all in one life.
Coz... God's mind games are... far better.

                Sincerely,

All of these will be easily fixed if the battery is user removable.. Samsung will just have to send the users a new battery and ask them to replace it themselves.. Or bring it to their nearest shop and have it replaced in just seconds.. That is why fans are clamoring for the return of removable battery feature.. Hope this will be a lesson to Samsung and all other manufacturer.. NO MORE SEALED BATTERIES!!

I was reading a post from someone named anonymous some thing on the lines that Samsung was on a decline to look at there stock price maybe he or she should stick to what they know lets see apple closed out @ 107.70 today a year ago it was at 195.50, Samsung closed out today at over 1600 that's (sixteen hundred dollars a share) today up 7.5% since the company agreed to recall their note 7 with out having to be told to do so like a real company should do so for all the Samsung haters good luck the Note 7 is still going to outsell the iphone 7 or whatever its being called now the market will prove that point.

It's high time, we should know when will batteries be replaced, and resold. It's looks to hard and cumbersome to re open and repack each set. Then getting new secured batteries immediately.

In a way, it kinda sucks if Samsung is making batteries. If the recall affected a 3rd party product, they'd just request (demand) recall from them which would only pose loss in terms of lost sales due to problems. In this case, they'll have loss with the sales and loss with faulty batteries. Not sure if they can insure any of it to offset the costs this way and decrease manufacturing risks...
