Then are mobile applications (Goggles, barcode scanner, etc). Then comes the camera, but the most important feature is the video recording quality(resolution, fps).

Good GSM Arena, I wud def check out the new tool..
However I wud like to make an imp suggestion.
Get hold of a room in ur test lab and test all the camera phones in the same lighting conditions.
That would def help to compare all the phones camera.
Pls comment on this amazing suggestion of mine.

well said, NOTHING is faster than a desktop PC or can beat it, even the top-notch laptops which costs 2000+ USD are compared to a "mid-range" PCs that cost 600+.
what's important in a basic phone is its camera and of course communication functionality and quality (without losing the signal).

Altek makes digital camera and now trying to make camera phone. I also want to see GSMArena review LEO too. I think the camera part is good but wonder if the smart phone part is good also (I wish Altek would use Andriod 2.2 or 2.3 instead of 2.1 and with a bigger touchscreen)
What I don't like is the size, it is a little bigger than other smart phone

You need to take a photo in a lowlight situation as well so we can see how phones perform in those testing circumstances; it's all very well taking pictures in broad daylight, any camera will perform well, but most pictures are taken indoors

when nokia announced n8 gsmarena wrote a lot about it.then they copared it with a sybershot sony digi cam and it was for the first time thet gdsm arena compared a digicam with aphone.then they called it director of the photography and now they announce their new feature in which we can compare camera phones but as I ecpected the n8 is one of the first phones in this comparison.They even dont mention se satio in this segment and it seems they are very interested in n8.

Along with the phone model you may also give resolution details. Auto / Fixed focus detail would be a bonus!

People from Gsmarena doesn´t know about ALTEK properties. ALTEK is a taiwanese brand that I purchased one item by Ebay.
My pictures are really nice !!!
I hope Gsmarena make a test of ALTEK LEO, most of people from here would say another commments of ALTEK.
Just wait ALTEK LEO release into global market.

-Posted from my iphone4 held very correctly, not touching the weak spot using a bumper case to show very good connection is real when in strong area facing the cell tower and WiFi switched off.

And GSMArena for the love of god can you guys do a low-light test which is way more useful than any resolution test? No one cares about how thin of a line a phone can take a picture of- they care about whether their pictures from their last party will turn out right.
