25 March, 2011
We published our pre-release LG Optimus 2X review a month ago and now we finally got a retail unit for testing so we're back to see what's changed since then. And there are noticeable improvements...

steinds, 25 Mar 2011I have mine for 3 days now and it's great! But battery life... moreDid you put the 2G (normal phone GSM mode on) and all the other energy saving things like low brightness in the display?

I hope that petrol station is paying you, it is on every video :)
We have that one in Croatia too.
As for the LG 2X I can't wait to get my hands on, to replace buggy C7.

dickster, 25 Mar 2011cant read the number plates on the cars so still pretty poo... moreYou better watch the "full size" version on the video.
I can easily see the license plate on the first 2 rows with the 720p quality, same in the 1080p video and can barely see the 3rd row car license plate...

Not so expensive. Price in Germany already dropped to 478 €, and starting was 549 €.

to the person who posted first, you're a douche

The 1080 video clip doesn't show much difference compared to the 720. They might need a bigger sensor. I find the 720 to be better, because the frames are higher and it also looks very identical to the 1080.
Maybe a future update will bring out the true 1080 within.
It was worth a try on their behalf though
