    Oops!

All the facts goes to toilet eh!

Samsung is not as good as people thinks and they dare to blame and spills on Nokia's problems, they have their own...

Now I want to have an SG2 to make my own test but it seems thousands of users with this same problem can't be wrong? or are they?...

And too many blog sites to count reporting the same problem...

This is a kick in the ass for Samsung pride, no matter what's going on on future this will cloud Samsung reputation....too bad for them

And pay +700 dlls for this...duh! I will stay better with an C7....People better wait for the W series :P

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2011The benefits of SAMOLED Plus outweigh the screen quality is... moreIt's still defective. At the end of the day, no matter how much tech is under the hood, it's still defective. Add over saturation, high chance of getting images burnt in, and this yellow defect and you fandroids can no longer claim this screen as the best in the market.

Nokia CBD is better than this overrated, defective Super Amoled by Samsung.

        There's no issue for me.
Tested with the grey page linked and nothing, no difference of colour.
Maybe that this issue concerns some units and not all the SGS2.

You're not even sure problem exists (read: don't own one of these phones) but you're the loudest one in here. Relax, sip your cocoa milk, and wait till some owners say that the issue affected their phones too.

                  P.S.
My GS2's screen look absolutely perfect, no yellow, red, or any others abnormal spots on it.

Listen Guys, time is a healer if there is a bruise. Secondly, every phone have its own defects. if you use microscope u'll see them. actually it's not nokia fan's who brought up this issue but they are hidden chicken IOS fan's trying to save the face of an antique piece which is as good as to keep in the museum. those who have already made their mind buying a GS2 do not change it for any sick reason. but if you are waiting for an excuse then go eat sh.....

The public needs to know about this defect. They need to get saved from paying premium for this defective device. I'm gonna go to XDA forums and download some pics of this defect and post it on Facebook. I'm doing this as a public service. XD

basically as Samsung makes 99% of all amoleds in this planet, almost all defective units are in fact made by samsung.

probably because amoled screens are made using organic compounds that tend to degrade unlike synthetic materials.

GSMArena, you are so unfair? Why are you so quick to make this issue a news headline yet with the Nokia N8 and C7 AMOLED problem you didn't bother?
Anyway, I just hope Nokia stops ordering AMOLED screens from Samsung for their upcoming phones. I hope they return to LCD, preferably IPS LCD which IMO is better and much less problematic than Samsung's defective AMOLED.

The specs look good but in reality, the quality sucks. This "yellowgate" fiasco is surely a deal breaker. Why pay $700+ for a defective device? It's like paying premium for something with abnormalities. I know some of you already bought this defective device; well, it sucks to be you. Ever heard of the saying "only fools rush in"? lmao

I will start a Facebook page about this defect and spread the word. Let's see how many "likes" I'm gonna get from this Samsung defect.

Samsung= makers of high spec'd defective products.

Now that's a fact! Just save your money and wait for Nokia's W series coming out at Q4 2011.
